The Pittsburgh Steelers kept their playoff hopes alive as they hold on to beat the Miami Dolphins on the road earlier today.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were almost considered to be out of the playoff race, but after a win today they need help to make the playoffs. The Miami Dolphins also need help to make the playoffs with different teams needing to win or lose. The Steelers travelled to Land Shark Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The Steelers took a 14-7 first quarter lead and both teams kicked field goals in the second quarter to end the first half with a 17-10 score. The Steelers looked like they were going to run away with the game after scoring another touchdown, but the Dolphins scored two quick touchdowns to become within three points of the Steelers. Pittsburgh added another touchdown late the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach and the ending score was 30-24.
