High School massacre plot foiled by boy's parents
A 13-year-old French boy planned to gun down his teachers with his father's shotgun but abandoned the plan when he arrived at the school and found it surrounded by police.

The boy's parents raised the alarm when they realized he had taken the family gun from their house near Beauvais, north of Paris, France and was headed to his school officials

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder, and later admitted his plan when being interrogated, Beauvais prosecutor James Juan said in a statement.
The boy wanted to kill his teachers because they had argued with him despite the fact that he claimed he had done nothing wrong, Juan said.
The boy had signaled his plan was in motion on Monday when he left a message on his blog stating that "this is the last day of my life".
When the boy arrived at the school only to find the huge police presence in front, he instead went to a local cyber cafe, and was later found by his parents, who turned him over to police.
The child's parents became suspicious when the boy seemed in an odd mood, and left for school at the unusually early hour of 7 AM. The normally good student who had lately started to struggle in the academically high achievement school of Saint Esprit was afraid of a parent-teacher conference that was to take place on Tuesday night, and concocted the murderous plan to avoid it.
After the boy left for school, his parents searched their home, and saw that the shotgun, as well as many rounds of ammunition were missing.
