Seven shot in Orlando high-rise shooting
A shooting has been reported on the eighth floor of Orlando's Gateway Center. Local media is reporting that as many as 50 paramedics have been sent to the scene.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 11:30 a.m.
The initial reports say that there were multiple victims on the fourth floor. The
Orlando Sentinel is reporting that two of the eight victims are in trauma condition. Two people have been killed in the attack according to the
National Post.
I spoke to Rita at the Orange County Sheriff's Department. She stressed that the case is being handled by the Orlando Police but did tell me that the department is assisting on the perimeter.
"What we are seeing in the media is that the gun man has yet to be found."
The latest news is that seven were shot and another person suffered a “cardiac event.”
The suspect is Jason Rodriguez, 40, according to
Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones. As of 2:25 PM EDT, Eyewitness News Channel 9 from Orlando has reported the suspect has been captured without incident.
The shooter is alleged to have worked at the building more than a year ago.
The Gateway Center is a high-rise office building with 16 floors. It opened in 1989.
