According to
homelessworldcup.org the Chilean team are full of life and love playing football. There is a great deal of comradeship as each member supports one another. Due to their sincere warmth and love for one another, not only do other fans love them, but also other teams.
Whilst the Homeless World Cup was taking place during September players in the Chilean football team joked and interacted with other teams. It is quite unlike ordinary football in that there is a sense of real family and connection. Each team member understands what the other has been through. Whilst they are on that field, playing the game nobody would ever be able to guess the type of life they have had. Each player looks alive, full of motivation and happy whilst they are playing football.
Match play never has a dull moment. Games give the crowds an instant adrenaline rush, are completely absorbing and intense. The teams head coach is called, Juan Manuel Erazo and has been working with the Homeless World Cup since 2005. Players are chosen due to their human spirit and the light heartiness that they would bring to the game. Training is intense especially nearer to the tournament. Various exercises have to be performed so that the players can be more flexible, perform better and be ready to take on another team. It was Chile that brought together the team of 7 heroes to play football with people from all over the world.
