The Food Standards Agency says the product has been recalled due to a labelling error that did not declare the presence of peanuts.
The affected product was sold in Selfridges stores on or after August 2, 2009 to October 23, 2009
The UK distributor Empire Food Brokers Ltd has withdrawn the affected product from sale. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at risk members of the withdrawal.
Notices will be displayed in Selfridges stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal, and the actions they can take if they have purchased this product.
No other Hershey’s products are known to be affected.
