Two bombs hit Baghdad's centre and kill over 60 people.
The effect of the two blasts shook buildings near Tigris River area and central Baghdad streets were filled with smoke and flooding water. Firefighters pulled charred and mangled bodies off the streets, while dozens tried to lift a car off two corpses beneath them.
According to Wall Street Journal, police confirmed that the first blast was targeted at the Ministry of Justice and the second, minutes later, was pointed at the providential government building.
This is reported to be the bloodiest attack in the Iraqi capital since August 19 this year when bombings hit the foreign and finance ministries, killing almost 100 people and wounding many others.
