Beyonce Interested In Appearing In Video Game
The famed singer is no longer content with possibly having the greatest video of all time, and is also interested having her own exercise video game.
Spicezee is reporting
that Beyonce is looking to move into a growing industry; celebrity endorsed exercise software for the Nintendo Wii. The singer has expressed an interest in creating her own interactive routine for the market for her fans, or anyone looking to make exercise a more entertaining experience. Her inspiration is her own dancing. The singer says:
I'd like to get involved in video games, since I really love Wii Fit. I think it would be a great idea to incorporate choreography, because, for me, my workout is way more fun when it involves dancing, as opposed to running on a boring treadmill. So I would love to do some kind of fitness game but incorporate dance and performance into it. I think a lot of women would enjoy that.
Exercise software for the Nintendo Wii is a surprise success within the industry. While Wii Fit itself made the first big splash, bucking trends and convincing millions to buy an additional peripheral for their Nintendo Wii, other exercise games have begun to capitalize on the craze. Electronic Arts EA Sports Active is the latest big contender for marketshare and Wii Fit Plus hit the shelves just days ago in order to compete. A Gold's Gym Cardio Workout game was released earlier in the year, and American fitness guru Jillian Mitchell also has her own Wii Exercise game. It's also been reported that the same company that produced the Carmen Electra pole dancing exercise workout was looking to create an interactive version, though Carmen Electra herself isn't involved.
