Publish2, New York Times Win At 2009 Online Journalism Awards

The 2009 Online Journalism Awards took place on October 3 in San Francisco. The awards celebrate the best sites that bring news content to the Internet.

The awards are a sign of the new way the public comes to obtain news content. As the audience turns towards the Internet as a way of gathering the news, that content will be judged by the most that there is to offer. The Online Journalism Awards shows the best that the medium has to offer.
Journalists Org. reports: "These honorees demonstrate the vitality and innovation of online journalists in a time of tumult and transformation in our industry," said OJA Committee Co-Chair Anthony Moor, Deputy Manging Editor/Interactive of The Dallas Morning News. "We continue to be impressed by the way journalists are pushing the envelope and serving the public interest at the same time."
