Karzai's brother denies election fraud accusations

The brother to current President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, Ahmed Wali Karzai, has denied such accusations made against him and his aides that they committed electoral fraud.
On Friday, Ahmed Wali Karzai says he did not commit any fraud during August 20's Presidential election in Afghanistan between incumbent President Hamid Karzai and his opponent the former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah, according to the New York Times.
The District Chief of Shorabak, Delaga Bariz, and other elders from his tribe have alleged that Ahmed Karzai, head of the provincial council of Kandahar and was running to retain the post in the elections held in August, closed polling stations early in order to stuff ballot boxes in his brother's favor.
However, Ahmed Karzai struck back and said his accusers accepted money from Abdullah Abdullah's campaign and fabricated a story when they could not win enough votes.
