Eleven men were arrested for allegedly stealing $10,000 worth of jeans. On the same bust, police found two stolen cars. It is expected that the same men were involved in a high-speed chase the day before.
On Friday, Atlanta police arrested eleven men for allegedly stealing $10,000 worth of jeans, a police spokeswoman said. A tipster talked to Atlanta police of suspicious activity in the backyard of her neighbor’s house according to Sgt. Lisa Keyes.
Atlanta police arrived on scene and found that the eleven suspects were removing tags from shirts and hundreds of high-end jeans. When the officers arrived, six of the suspects tried to hide in the crawl space of the house’s ceiling but all of the suspects were arrested in the end.
According to Sgt. Keyes, majority of the merchandise still had its labels and security tags attached. On the same bust, police found two stolen cars at the home. On Thursday, police were in pursuit of two men in a high-speed chase after burglars targeted high-end clothing boutiques.
Currently, the men are being held without bond and are awaiting a preliminary hearing before a Fulton County Superior Court Judge.
