UN Suggests Israel May Have Commited War Crimes
So far, the United Nations say that Israel may have committed war crimes in its offensive on the Gaza Strip. However, Israel has brushed off all suggestions.

The United Nations has given the suggestion that the Israeli government has committed war crimes in regards to its offensive against the militant group known as Hamas on the Gaza Strip. So far, Israel’s actions have brought for international condemnation. Many across the world have protested Israel’s actions. There were plenty of those that practice the Jewish faith that took part in the protests.
So far, the UN is not too pleased with Israel’s actions. Prelude to the new “ceasefire,” Israel ended up hitting a
UN warehouse. It was full of food and supplies for Palestinian refugees. The UN wanted an explanation from Israel. The Israeli government did apologize for what had happened.
Today, the UN is suggesting that Israel committed war crimes. So far, it is displeased at the death of two boys who were killed by a blast from an Israeli tank. The tank blasted a UN school and killed the boys in the process.
“
These two little boys are as innocent, indisputably, as they are dead,” said John Ging, the head of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip. Navi Pillay, the UN Commissioner for Human Rights wants an investigation.
So far, the death toll has reached over 1,000.
However, the Israeli government has brushed off criticisms and suggestions. It says that the military has done everything within its legal rights. So far, there are calls for Israel to be investigated by the International Criminal Court (ICC) at the Hague. However, the calls were dismissed.
Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesman Yigal Palmor said: “As far as we known, the army has not done anything that is contrary to international law. Everything it did was according to international law and within international standards.”
When Barack Obama assumes the US Presidency on January 20, the Gaza crisis will be one of the first major international problems he must tackle. How will Obama tackle this issue? We will have to wait and see.
