However, Mr. Earl Blumenauer has set an instance for the world while forming an one hundred and eighty member Congressional Bicycle Caucus in the Portland. There are reports abound that suggest that Mr. Blumenauer, has always been a passionate advocate of cycling for numerous issues with multiple and diverse implications. While contacted Mr. Blumenauer, a Democrat, stated that they had been flogging the bicycle thing for around 20 years. In an exciting voice he added further that it is encouraging to find that all of a sudden the issue has become such a hot one. Although, the reports pointed out that the goals he set, were larger than putting huge numbers of Americans on two wheels. As per the reports, he sought to create one more sustainable society that will include wiser usage of energy as well as farming. The farming, according to Mr. Blumenauer will improve the land rather than degrading it. Further he remained interested in bringing an end to taxpayer subsidies to that of unwise development. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, he remained interested in a transportation infrastructure that will mountain its' effort beyond the fuel-driven car. For Mr. Blumenauer, the reason behind global financial collapse remains the best opportunity that one would ever encounter in his whole life. This environment, according to him, will assist in building environmental sustainability into the nation’s infrastructure while allowing the urban streetcar systems, bike and pedestrian paths, more able energy transmission as well as transition of 600,000-vehicle fleet for using alternate fuels.
