Posted Dec 1, 2008 by  KJ Mullins
An 80-year-old man recently had a special birthday card from a former teacher. Hobart Anderson of New Ulm, Minnesota's third and fourth grade teacher Collette Hartung sent the surprise card.
Hartung was in her early 20's when she taught Anderson. Anderson was recently honoured by the Wanda Gag House Association for his work during the past 20 years.
Hartung lives on her own in Hutchinson and is now in her 90's.
The association takes care of the Wanda Hazel Gag House. Gag was the author of the children's book, "Millions of Cats."
