David Letterman And John McCain to Meet Again

David Letterman's "Late Show" may finally get the guest it's been waiting for these past couple of weeks. According to The Huffington Post, John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate, is scheduled to appear on Letterman's show on Thursday night.

Though the visit may be a little hasty at first, this will be McCain's 13th visit to Letterman's late night show. There is only one thing different about this visit than the others: Letterman is ticked off at McCain. Letterman has been angered at McCain for canceling his "Late Show" appearance on Sept. 24th and appearing on Katie Couric's program instead.

According to Letterman, at first he felt that letting McCain cancel his visit to take care of his commitments made him feel "patriotic" until he was notified on McCain's commitments. McCain's spokeswoman has been quoted on saying the campaign on Sept. 24th didn't feel like "a night of comedy."

McCain may feel he didn't do anything wrong when it comes to canceling on Letterman. Letterman, on the other hand, didn't take the cancellation lightly. Thursday night will be the day in which McCain may have to apologize to Letterman or "face the music" he may have in store for McCain.
