Google launched Chrome browser two days ago and is already ranked No. 4 in the browsers behind Safari, Firefox and No.1 Internet Explorer. Opera has 0.74 per cent share and Google’s Chrome hovers around 1 per cent. Though Google may have surpassed Opera, the latter is a good browser also, and it's very safe to use with more features. TechCrunch has reported that about 6 percent of its readers use Chrome and has gained this share mostly from the Internet Explorer market share. This indicates that many tech users are using Chrome browser over Internet Explorer. Microsoft has another Google problem to solve now. But its lead is so vast now (nearly 72 per cent), it may ignore Google for a while. I use Firefox, Safari and Chrome, and each has its own uses and advantages. Competition is pushing them and others to produce excellent browsers, which is good for consumers.
