The Federal Liberal party's caucus retreat was adjourned early on Thursday due to reports that Prime Minister Stephen Harper will pull the plug on his minority Conservative government on Sunday.
It's anticipated that the Prime Minister will visit Gov. Gen. Michaƫlle Jean at 9 a.m. (EST) on Sunday to ask her to dissolve Parliament. This would make Oct. 14, 2008, the federal election date.
The Liberal members of Parliament have returned to their ridings to get ready for the election.
The Liberal caucus was being held in Winnipeg and was to wrap up today. However, Dion cancelled his closing speech.
Harper is meeting his cabinet for a pre-election meeting in Meech Lake, Que.
So now it comes down to what you think: Will the end result be another Conservative minority or will the PCs pull out a majority win?
