Journalist Robert Novak Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

Robert Novak is a columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times. During his visit to Cape Cod, where his daughter lives, he fell ill and was rushed to the hospital Sunday. The doctors at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital from Cape Cod diagnosed it as brain tumor. The article doesn’t say whether the tumor is malignant or benign. For now he will stop writing columns indefinitely, according to a statement released to the press by Novak. He said he hopes to come back as soon as possible. Only last week, Novak was in the news when he struck a homeless man and kept driving his black Corvette. He was finally stopped by a bicyclist and later was given a $50 citation. Novak also revealed the identity of former CIA Agent Valerie Plume in one of his columns after it was revealed to him by either Karl Rove or VP Dick Cheney.
