The Pew Research Center issued a free News IQ Quiz today, July 18 2008 - which can be accessed
here.
The quiz is comprised of 12 questions which try to give you a feel for how well you follow the news, with an emphasis on American politics.
At the end of the quiz your results will be tabulated and compared with the average of all others who have taken the quiz to date.
"You'll also be able to compare your News IQ with the average scores of men and women; with college graduates as well as those who didn't attend college; with people who are your age as well as with younger and older (people)."
