The 44 year old man had already agreed a bid since breaking up from his wife on his package of his life which includes his car, job, house and friends since putting it all up for sale on
eBay.
The lot which caused numerous bids to be placed, closed on Sunday after the final bid was cast at £192,276. He was, unfortunately wanting something higher to help him on his way to starting a new life yet he says he has no regrets doing something so drastic.
Mr Usher thought he was on to something higher when the bids flew straight up to £1 Australian dollars within the first few hours of bidding on the auction website. Yet the man, along with eBay were cornered into implying a form of restriction on the bids to stop hoaxers putting in fake bids for the life lot.
Included in the lot was also a jet-ski and a motorcycle.
Most of these hoax bids came from the UK.
