It has been since quite a while since news came of Ralph Nader making another bid for the United States presidency. It seems that Nader’s campaign is getting stronger.

Recently, a poll of polls had revealed that presumed Democratic nominee Barack Obama and presumed GOP nominee John McCain are in dead heat with each other amongst the registered Democrats and Republicans. However, they did not put the other two candidates: Bobb Barr and Ralph Nader. Barr is running as a Libertarian and Nader is running as an Independent.
Many report that both Barr and Nader could be possible spoilers for either Obama or McCain. Nader got six percent in the poll. This is much better than 2004 in which Nader was only at one percent. Barr on the other hand had received only two percent in the polls.
Many Democrats had blamed Nader of being an election spoiler.
Recently, Nader had made an appeal to raise funds. He used quotes from novelist Russell Banks in his attacks against Obama. So forth, Nader has been focusing attacks on Obama. It does not seem that Nader has focused attacks on McCain yet.
Banks said that Obama was feeding a mere dream.
Nader has made it clear that he is launching an offensive against Obama. So far, Nader already has his VP running-mate picked out. Nader had picked out Matthew Gonzalez, former president of San Francisco County’s Board of Supervisors.
