Single Mom Fired For Giving Timbit Donut to Cranky Baby

An empty Tim Horton's is a safe Tim Horton's

Here's proof from the source that eating Tim Horton's stuff is bad for the brain. I say this because if what follows could be laid at the door of a single person, that'd be an anomaly.

However, according to numerous media reports, no less than three Tim Horton's (TH) managers thought it was a really bright idea to fire a single mom of four for giving a baby a Timbit. I mean, who's going to notice, right?

Nicole Lilliman, 27, a three year employee of TH, was fired yesterday from her job for giving one of the 16-cent blobs of fried dough to a tot.

Expert estimates say the stuff can't cost TH's more than a cent and a half and oh yeah, the mom of the offending infant was a regular customer. A regular who was having a bad day and having to deal with a cranky baby.

Most folks with a few neurons to rub together would recognise the glint of TV commercial gold.in a story about a caring employee handing a cranky bay a Timbit and calming it down.
It gets smarter when Lilliman noted she thought little of the incident since Timbits are often doled out to dogs and children.

Not so fast, said the TH crew, the Timbits given to your children and pets for free are the stale, day oldies..

What a clever way to introduce your product to a whole generation of new consumers, by having them sample the bottom of the barrel.

To get an idea of the brainpower involved here, this Tim Horton;s is located in the venerable university city of London, Ontario.

Which prompts me to take the high road and admit, if grudgingly, that by denying young children Timbits, Tim Horton's is subconsciously saving them from the kind of brain damage that could see them end up as, I dunno, Tim Horton's managers.
