Time Machiner Lets You Send Emails to the Future
Jon Wheatley has developed a simple email tool to send messages to the future. Just type in the email address and the date you want it sent. He claims it took him about four hours and $50 to develop this application.

In the video, Wheatley talks about how he developed this application,
Time Machiner.
The site has a simple form to fill in details. You can enter the email address to whom you want the message to be sent (either you can send it to anyone or you can send it to yourself) and also provide a date when the email should be delivered.
Mashable.com said a similar feature is offered at
Google Calendar, where you can set up a task and send you an email notification. But if you want to send an email to another address, then you can use TimeMachiner.
Gmail also can provide an option to send emails at a future date, like it does with
Blogger.com, where you can post blogs at a future date.
You can set up goals and see how you far you have accomplished those tasks with TimeMachiner.
