Steve Jobs could have easily given up, but he didn’t. He persevered and became successful despite being fired by his own company and persevered through a cancer to battle as well.

This picture of Steve Jobs is from the book, The Bigger Picture: Thirty Years of Portraits by Diana Walker.

He says about the home:

This was a very typical time. I was single. All you needed was a cup of tea, a light, and your stereo, you know, and that’s what I had.”

The above video shows his inspiring speech at the Stanford University graduation ceremony.

Here is a summary of the, “The Bigger Picture," from the publisher:
As a White House photographer through five presidential administrations, Diana Walker enjoyed incomparable access to the world's major movers and shakers. Many of those portrayed are notables in politics, industry, science, entertainment, and the arts—from Ronald Reagan to Bob Hope to Steve Jobs; from Eartha Kitt to John Travolta to Princess Diana and Prince Charles; from Mikhail Gorbachev to Hillary Clinton to George W. Bush. But Walker also immortalizes the quiet heroism and everyday joys of people who would otherwise remain anonymous and their stories untold—co-workers, homeless people, disaster survivors, and many others.
