Joe Horn, a man living just outside of Houston, TX in a suburb called Pasadena, was asked to watch a friend's house while the friend was away. Glenn Beck
reports that while Horn was doing so, he saw two men entering through a back window. First, he contacted police hoping they would take swift action, only their action wasn't swift enough.
While on the phone with 911, Horn informed the operator that he was going to shoot them if the police didn't arrive quickly. The operator tried to discourage him from taking that action, but to no avail.
"They've got a bag of stuff from my friend's house. I'm not going to let them get away with it. I've got a gun", said Horn.
True to this word, he didn't let them get away with it. He killed them both. And according to Houston law, a property owner can protect their property, which includes using a firearm.
Joe Horn, according to neighbors, is a very nice guy, almost like a "grandfather" to some in his neighborhood. Yet, some protesters don't see him that way. The new Black Panthers and Quanell X, both well known for their protests, attempted to express their position on the matter by entering Horn's neighborhood. To their surprise, they were met with a large crowd in support of Horn.
Once Quanell X and the Black Panthers entered the scene, the crowd would not quiet down, thus preventing the protesters from voicing their opinion. In fact, included in the crowd were bikers who expressed themselves by revving their motorcycle engines. Chants of "U.S.A., U.S.A..." were heard constantly, which eventually forced the protesters away from the scene.
