Czech Couple Decide to Swap Their Babies

Imagine if that wonderful child of yours whom you just love to death and just can’t fathom living without belongs to another couple. This is exactly what happened in Czech between two families.

Libor Broza and Jaroslava Trojanova (his partner) and Jan and Jaroslava Cermak who both have baby girls born on Decmeber 9 of last year, recently learned that their adorable babies do not belong to them..Mr. Broza grew somewhat suspicious after he noticed that his child Nicola did not resemble him at all. He might have accused his wife Jaroslava Trojanova for cheating, which resulted in the birth of their baby. Possibly adamant to know the trut, Mr Broza decided his family should be given a DNA test. The test concluded that Nicola, in deed was not related to them.

Jaroslava Trojanova Cermak who’s baby Veronika was also born on December 9, 2006 and at the same hospital as Nicola, were contacted and notified that the hospital might have made a dire mistake, and that there appeared to be a mix up concerning both babies.

The Cermak's agreed to a DNA test and learned that Veronika was not there baby.

Both families are planning to sue the hospital for ($510,000) in damages.

Police have been alerted to the situation and are now looking into it.

The hospital has launched an inquiry into what it called a "regrettable case".

I would think that it would be emotionally difficult to give up the child you are raising. How does one cope with having to make such a decision? When my kids were little, I just couldn’t imagine such a thing or rather I did imagine it, and thought there could be no way in which I could part with my baby. And the only possible solution would be. to have both children. I know that would not be possible but ,those were my feelings. Mind you there have been some trying times when I didn’t fancy the idea.
