Larry White, 58 was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder and attempted murder of the third officer.

According to Tela Mange as spokeswoman for the Department of Public Safety said that White was also shot in the abdomen and was in stable condition.

"The wounded officer was transported to University Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock, said Andrea Goodson, a City of Odessa spokeswoman."

Officers answered a domestic disturbance call at around 6:15 Saturday and entered the back of the house where they were immediately fired upon. The officers managed to call for backup before being shot.

Texas Rangers are investigating the crime.
