The Fortune Happiness Restaurant in Vancouver was the scene of an attack at about 4:30 a.m. where two masked gunmen walked into the restaurant and shot and killed 2 people and injured 6 others. One person is in critical condition.

Witnesses said one man entered from the back of the building and the other through the front of the building. The front window was shattered.Bullet casing shells from 9 mm and .45-caliber guns were found on the scene.

The police believe the restaurant may have been targeted. The restaurant's neighborhood is known for prostitution and drug dealers. It is not known yet if it is gang related. The two gunmen got away before police arrived.

According to a police statement, when police arrived on the scene they said

"(Officers) arrived to a chaotic scene at the restaurant with tables and chairs overturned, customers shot, broken glass and frantic witnesses."

Just yesterday, a sign was put in place at the restaurant saying that security cameras have now been installed, leaving people to wonder if they knew an attack was coming.

Reports said this is the worst shooting in Vancouver's history.
