Period-Stopping Birth Control Arrives On Pharmacy Shelves

I don't think so. Women have their cycles for a reason. Stopping it is asking for trouble. I can well imagine,(Like other drugs) alot of unpleasant effects years down the road.

The Consumerist says the pill uses the same hormones as traditional birth control pills, but does not include the placebos that "fake" periods every month. (The bleeding one experiences from taking placebos is not a menstrual period. It is bleeding caused by withdrawal from hormones.) Who knew?

I think you can not mess with mother nature in such a dramatic way. This will not be good. I can see how in some extreme cases, women would want to take this, but otherwise I can not imagine that most women would like the idea.

What do I know, being a guy?

But does it stop the grouchiness and the throwing of objects? That is my main concern. Oh, and the hitting. And pinching. Yeah I need answers.
