Young Al was driving a bit fast in a blue Toyota Prius at 160 kilometres an hour. When the police pulled him over he took a whiff and wondered about that smell coming out from the window.
Al Gore III had a stash in his car of 28 grams of marijuana along with Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall. That's enough to land anyone in the pokie for a little while.
"He does not have a prescription for any of those drugs," Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.
This isn't the first time Gore has been in the hot seat. He was arrested for pot possession in December 2003 while still a college student.
Al is the only son of Al and Tipper Gore. He is an associate publisher of GOOD, a magazine about philanthropy aimed at young people.
