The body of a young woman was found stabbed to death at a block of flats in Swansea, South Wales at around ten in the morning yesterday.
The block is in the city centre in Griffin John Street. It is thought that around 50 Officers have been involved in investigating the crime and have arrested four men in connection with the killing. So far, it may be possible that near by CCTV may have captured something of some use to the police.
Results of a post mortem which was carried out today will be received shortly by the police. Unfortunately, finding any next of kin of the woman is proving to be difficult.
Det Supt Paul Kemp, who is leading the investigation has said that although the men have been arrested, they need further evidence into the case to press charges. He said,
"Firstly, I would like to hear from anyone who may have information on how this woman died. Secondly, I am keen to find out more about the occupants of 71, Griffith John Street. Finally, I would urge anyone who was in the area of Griffith John Street or Llangyfelach Street between 7.30pm on Tuesday 15 May and 10.30am on Wednesday to come forward and speak to us."
So far, it is proving to be a case where people have very little information of.
