With a large winter storm moving into the Northeast, Jetblue has decided to cancel 215 flights in an effort to avoid the days of cancellations and delays that plagued them last time. If you read that and said 'huh?' I'd say you weren't alone.

Although Jetblue did not have the most flights canceled, most news carriers are expected to concentrate on them given their recent history dealing with the winter weather. After their trouble last time, Jetblue announced a bill of rights for travelers.
That bill of rights includes vouchers to those who experience delays, so the mass cancellations may be an effort to proactively contact customers before they come to the airport.
Before the Valentines Day disaster, Jetblue would 'wait and see' before canceling or delaying flights. Now their policy more closely reflects other major carriers.
