Dreamgirls star Eddie Murphy was expected to win the Oscars Best Supporting Actor Academy Award, but he came runner up to the eventual winner Alan Arkin for his role in Little Miss Sunshine. After the announcement Eddie Murphy stormed out of the ceremony according to the press reports. The 45-year-old tried to downplay his disappointment telling Us Weekly, "It's fine. It happens. It's OK." After that brief interview, he and his girlfriend left the Oscars Show and didn't return. He also missed out the performance of his Dreamgirl's co actresses, Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson and Anoki Noni Rose song performance and also Hudson's win for Best Supporting Actress. I think Eddie Murphy deserved to win, I saw Little Miss Sunshine, Alan Arkin's role anybody could have done, but I don't think Eddie Murphy's role could have been done any better by others. His anger is understandable, but he should have remained for his costars performance and award winning.
