World wide initiative that asks "Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer?"

Recently a Digital Journal user posted an article asking if readers thought they could go without their cellphones, computers and cameras for 4 days. The thread exploded and it appeared that while some of us thought we could handle it with no problem, others deemed it impossible (including myself).
Today I came across a website that asks a similar question but limits it to only one day and going without one device... but it's a big one... your computer.
Site creators Denis Bystrov and Michael Taylor have posted Shutdown Day to challenge people everywhere turn their computers off for the ENTIRE day on March 24, 2007. Sounds easy right? Well the real challenge would be not only to turn your computer off but not look at anyone elses computer either, no heading to the library to check your email while your machine is turn off...
From the website:
Be a part of one of the biggest global experiments ever to take place on the Internet. The idea behind the experiment is to find out how many people can go without a computer for one whole day, and what will happen if we all participate!
The initiative has high hopes, calling itself "one of the biggest global experiments ever to take place on the Internet" but I guess if you're going to dream, dream big.
The site allows you to cast your vote on whether or not you think you can make it or if you will even try, allowing users to vote either "I Can" or "I Can't" currently the "I Cans" are winning.
So the question is, will you join Shutdown Day 2007 and turn your computer off for the entire day on March 24th of this year? Can you do it? Is it even possible?
