Three Fort Lewis soldiers have been arrested in connection with a bar fight in Lacey.
The 3 soldiers were in a bar and started to harass an African American man. They were kicked out of the bar for this.
When the man left the bar to have a cigarette, the 3 men were waiting for him outside. They called him the "n" word and beat and choked him.
The attack was broke up by other people and the man was taken to hospital and later released.
The 3 men are with the 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment based out of Fort Lewis and are being detained under probably cause of malicious harassment, which can be interpreted as a hate crime and
assault in the second degree.
