The world's biggest snow globe was unveiled in Barrie as part of Winter Fun in Ontario.
It stands over two stories tall and 20 feet in diameter. Inside the globe people are ice skating, getting spa treatments having ice wine, showing all that can be done in Ontario in the winter.
It's part of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation "Winter - Get into it" campaign and will be in Barrie until Sunday.
The globe will be traveling around Ontario after its debut in Barrie. It is going to Nathan
Phillips Square in Toronto (January 25 -29, 2007).Then to Ottawa (February 2 - 4, 2007), and Kingston (February 8 - 11, 2007), finishing up in London, Ontario (February 15 - 18, 2007).
I went to Barrie to see it and it is very cool. If you get a chance to see it, i recommended it. My daughter loved it. Wish we could have went inside it.
