On January 28, 2012, her father was fatally injured when he was hit and run over by a dump truck which was owned and operated by the two defendants. The fatal accident occurred at one of the defendant's commercial property.
The victim suffered fatal injuries, including multiple fractures and damage to the thoracic cavity which was extruded through a fifteen inch hole in the victim's left thigh.
Keogh Crispi then filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the defendants and was awarded $1.2 million in compensation for her father's death.
