Whitewater recreation is found on two rivers near Lake George - The Sacandaga River near Lake Luzerne (just 12 miles from Lake George), and The Upper Hudson River near Indian Lake and North Creek (about 35 minutes from Lake George). The Hudson offers some of the best adventure class whitewater in The East! Both Rivers are family friendly in the Summer. Check out the Adventure Page at the Georgian Resort website to find links to an outfitter and more information including river videos.

Canoe and Kayak adventures are also close at hand on Lake George and the nearby lower Hudson River.
