Panama, The Canal and Beyond
Trafalgar is thrilled to be able to offer this lively 8-day trip to Panama, a new destination with incredible highlights. This itinerary takes guests beyond the typical sights in Panama to places no other guided vacations company goes, including the highlands of the Chiriqui province. Here they'll be treated to a private Be My Guest lunch, hosted by the Eleta Almarans, one of Panama's wealthiest and most respected political families, on their own estate. The lunch is preceded by a tour of the estate, which is also home to some of the most magnificent thoroughbreds and 200 other animals that are bred and trained on the grounds. In beautiful Boquete (also known as The Valley of Flowers), guests will sleep easy at the serene Valle Escondido Golf & Spa Resort in between visiting a coffee plantation and getting the rare opportunity to meet with the Ngobe-Bugle, a local indigenous tribe.
