The free app is designed to be flexible enough so users can find exactly what they want quickly or run a search when they’e not sure what to look for. A user could, for example, shortlist dining options and narrow them down by approximate price range. Another user might want to locate the best attractions for her family by reading up the information on each of them and by comparing wait times that other users have shared. “These are all real life situations that one is likely to experience and see around them at these theme parks on any given day. The app addresses such real life situations and makes it easier for the visitor,” says a spokesperson for Shoreline Animation.
The Universal Orlando Maps, Guides and Share Wait Times App includes maps for Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild and Universal CityWalk. Besides reading up on park attractions and choosing dining options, users can also use the app to plan their itinerary and email it to themselves and to others. This feature lets families and groups coordinate with each other from different locations within a park or even from different parks - a features that’s all the more convenient during these summer months as families head to Orlando.
