The Social Madness Contest hosted by the Business Journal kicked off on June 1st, and Snap Agency is rising to the challenge. Social Madness is a contest designed to promote social engagement for brands in the digital sphere—specifically on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The purpose of the contest, as Snap CEO George Lee explains, is "to compete with other small companies on how well we can engage people with social media."
Snap will be launching a number of campaigns throughout the contest in order to boost their social media presence. The goal is to engage their audience across multiple social channels, including their website and blog, Facebook page, Twitter profile, and LinkedIn profile.
As part of Social Madness, Snap is launching a contest to engage fans. To enter the contest, all fans need to do is "Like" the Snap Facebook page and answer any of the daily questions posted there.
A random winner will be drawn each week (June 8th and 15th) to receive a $100 Visa gift card. All entries will be considered for the Grand Prize drawing on June 19th for a $500 Social Strategy session with Snap Agency.
Companies entered in the Social Madness contest are broken out into small, medium, and large categories. The contest begins at the local level, and winners at the local level will move on to compete in the national competition.
Winners are chosen based on who can increase their social media presence by the greatest margin within the time frame of the contest (June 1-19). Votes on the Business Journal website, Facebook likes, Twitter followers, and LinkedIn followers will all be counted in the final decision.
