Canadian rock music fans in the Ontario area were last week dealt a surprise when popular morning show host Scott Tucker suddenly resigned from the morning show on 'FM96 London's Best Rock'. The music blogsite MusicLoversBlog.com picked up on the news story which first broke on the Canadian radio industry website Airchecker last week.
The Music Lover's site has reported that Tucker's departure seems to have come right out of the blue and was a major surprise to rock fans in the London area. The popular morning show DJ Tucker had been co-host with Taz since 2008 and their morning show 'Tucker & Taz in the Morning' has been a fans favorite ever since. The pair's offbeat sense of humor, interesting features and mix of competitions quickly helped to establish the morning show as one of London's favorites.
The blog article went on to say that it appears that both Tucker and FM96 have kept a dignified silence regarding his sudden departure. There has not been any official statements or press releases from either party elaborating on possible reasons for Tucker's departure. Kelly Maher has stepped into Tucker's shoes in the morning show with Taz since Tucker's departure but there has been no official word from the station regarding Tucker's long term replacement.
