Broadcast Executive’s Professional "Reinvention" Brings National Award

National Small Business Week (May 20-26) has special significance to Lake County, Fla. video production and multi-media marketing firm Hometown Health TV, LLC (http://www.YourHometownHealth.com). The company and its founder, award-winning broadcast executive Marc Robertz-Schwartz, were recently recognized by the National Business Incubator Association as the 2012 Incubator Business Client of the Year.
Robertz-Schwartz’s company which produces a hyper-local monthly health and wellness-focused video program airing in medical practitioners’ waiting rooms and on local access cable is a client of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program in Leesburg. The Hometown Health video program reaches an estimated 30,000 monthly waiting room guests as well as more than 100,000 cable households in the community and has received multiple industry honors including MarCom and AVA Awards.
A 20-plus year broadcast professional Robertz-Schwartz started Hometown Health TV three years ago after being laid off from his job as a media and marketing executive and joined the UCF Business Incubator program a year later. The UCF program is one of 7,000 business incubators worldwide which assist start-up companies in nurturing entrepreneurs to business success.
As market demand for his award winning services grew, Robertz-Schwartz created subsidiary, Apple Seed Marketing (http://www.AppleSeedMarketing.com) in 2011 to be able to offer multi-media marketing expertise and video production to clients outside the health care field.
The national honor comes on the heels of Robertz-Schwartz being named the Lake County Entrepreneur of the Year earlier this month.

Hometown Health TV, LLC is headquartered in the Leesburg Incubator as a member of the Leesburg Business & Technology Center (LBTC) program which identifies startup companies in the community provides business and marketing services to ensure their growth. LBTC participants go through an extensive admissions process and must meet ongoing requirements throughout the three year program.
