Sales Management Award Finalists Demonstrate Excellence in Building and Supporting Thriving Sales and Business Development Organizations

The Institute for Excellence in Sales & Business Development (IES&BD) announced that the four companies vying for its annual Excellence in Team Building, Management and Development award represent companies that have demonstrated excellent sales processes for growing businesses in a challenging environment. The four companies vying for this award are BOWA Builders (McLean, VA), Centuria Corporation (Reston, VA), Direct Connect(Chantilly, VA), and DLT Solutions(Herndon, VA).
This award recognizes excellence in sales management, and team development. Excellence may be exhibited in internal team development, hiring, recruiting, cross-functional development, retention, leadership development, motivation, sales & business development management strategies, and meeting and tracking strategies. DLT Solutions won the IES&BD award for Excellence in Sales & Business Development Innovation in 2011.
The awards will be presented at a breakfast event on Thursday, May 17 at the USA Today/Gannett Headquarters in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Agilex Vice Chairman and Co-Founder Jay Nussbaum will also receive the IES&BD Lifetime Achievement Award at the event. Best-selling Sales Speaker and Author Rob Jolles will provide the keynote. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS).
