Law Firm of Goldman & Braunstein, LLP Introduces New Resource Website for Ohioans Affected By the ATEX Enterprise Pipeline
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) April 09, 2012
Leading eminent domain attorneys William Goldman and Michael Braunstein, of Goldman & Braunstein, LLP, have launched a new website to educate and protect the rights of Ohioans affected by the 1,230-mile Appalachia-to-Texas (ATEX) Enterprise pipeline project. The site, http://www.enterprisepipelineresults.com, is a free resource for property owners who are in the path of the pipeline, are facing an easement for the pipeline or are seeking more information about the project and its impact on the region.
The project, also known as ATEX Express, will involve the construction of pipeline across 13 Ohio counties to transport ethane from the Marcellus Shale region in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio to the Texas Gulf Coast. In the coming months, project representatives will survey properties within the proposed route and submit offers to property owners for easements to construct the pipeline. Ultimately, property owners who decline to negotiate or reach an agreement could face eminent domain action in court.
Goldman & Braunstein believe the time is now for landowners to learn their rights and options to ensure a fair agreement and compensation.
“It is important for property owners in the path of the project to understand what they can do to level the playing field and improve their standing to get a better result,” said William Goldman.
“EnterprisePipelineResults.com provides Ohio property owners with a comprehensive resource and single access point for information about the ATEX Enterprise Pipeline project, empowering them to protect their land and get fair compensation,” said Michael Braunstein.
The website is part of a broader program by Goldman & Braunstein to educate Ohioans about this project. This includes a series of public meetings, the first of which to be held April 12 at 10185 S.R 586 Frazeysburg, Ohio 43822. They encourage anyone who has received a request from a surveyor to inspect their property or proposed agreement or believes they are in the path of the pipeline to attend this public meeting or contact their office for a risk-free, no obligation consultation. Goldman & Braunstein will review options and recommend ways to improve and maximize results.
