The South Mountain Community College (SMCC) Career Services Office will present the college’s annual Academic Discovery Day on Wednesday, March 28.
The event is designed to help students focus on their future, by exploring new potential careers, meeting college faculty, discovering educational pathways, and talking with professionals from a wide variety of local industries.
Academic advisors will be available to help with educational planning, and representatives from SMCC student clubs will be on hand to share areas of interest.
While the event has been designed for current and future SMCC students, it is open to anyone in the community wishing to attend.
Academic Discovery Day will be presented in two sessions, on Wednesday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (for daytime students) and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. (for evening students.)
South Mountain Community College Student Union and Learning Resource Center Patio, 7050 S. 24th Street in Phoenix (just north of Baseline Road.)
Admission to Academic Discovery Day is free of charge.
