Dr. Wendy Labat Works With Non-Profit Providing Financial Literacy

Simplistic Restored Living, dedicated to helping Atlanta families thrive during times of hardship, has invited author and financial healer to teach families how to manage their tax refunds.

Fayetteville, GA, USA – Dr. Wendy Labat, author of “Budgeting: Diagnosing Your Financial Health” has partnered with Simplistic Restored Living to provide a non-traditional financial literacy program to Atlanta families get back on their feet. Simplistic Restored Living provides support and resources to families dealing with hardship, and they’ve invited Dr. Labat to teach them options on what to do with their tax refund money.

There are differing opinions for most families who receive a windfall of cash from the IRS.

The first opinion is to spend it all on reducing their personal debt, the other opinion is to blow it all on a luxury purchase. Dr. Labat doesn’t recommend either.

Dr. Wendy Labat has improved the financial lives of many individuals, families, and business owners across the U.S. by empowering them to develop specific strategies to take control over their finances; make their money work for them; get proper protection to prevent financial ruin; build a financial legacy; create generational wealth; and have financial freedom to live the life they desire.

“It’s important to have a financial plan in place before you receive your tax refund check from the IRS,” says Dr. Labat, “I don’t recommend my clients spend it all on debt, leaving them with nothing, rather, set yourself up for financial security.”

The Financial Cures Tax Refund Strategy

• 50% towards Debt Reduction
• 25% into Reserves or Savings
• 15% on Proper Protection,
• And 10% to treat yourself.

“Financial strength requires strategies for protection whether you live too long, die too soon, or get sick along the way,” says Labat, “taking 15% of your tax refund can pay for an entire year of insurance premiums, be put towards a college fund, or to purchase an Index Universal Life policy.”

Dr. Labat will be teaching The Financial Cures System© on April 18, 2020 for Simplistic Restored Living. If you know an Atlanta family who could use support with rent or utility costs, educational programs, or home furnishings, visit www.SimplisticRestoredLiving.org.
