Tampa based web design and development firm, Magnetic, was honored with the Web Marketing Association’s Outstanding Non-Profit Website WebAward for the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. The Web Marketing Association’s annual WebAward competition has been setting the standard of excellence for website development and independent expert judges from around the world review sites in 96 industries.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay brings help, hope and healing to people facing serious life challenges or trauma resulting from sexual assault or abuse, domestic violence, financial distress, substance abuse, medical emergency, suicidal thoughts, emotional or situational problems. The new website is used as the main informational source for visitors to learn more details on how to get help, give help, and the main services offered by the Crisis Center. These include free crisis counseling, suicide prevention and support, educational programs, specialized trauma counseling and therapy, case management and financial counseling, and TransCare Medical Transportation Services available 24 hours a day.
Now in its 15th year, the WebAward competition has become the premier award event for web developers and marketers worldwide. Staffed by volunteers, it is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of website development and marketing on the Internet. Since 1997, the Web Marketing Association's annual WebAward competition has been helping interactive professionals promote themselves, their companies, and their best work to the outside world.
