"VERMONT LAMPS" Mimics Nature's Mesmerizing Beauty

Vermontlamps.com bursts onto the design scene with lamps brimming with vibrant colors and playful subject matter.

Dec. 9, 2018 / PRZen / COLCHESTER, Vt. -- With images like Palm trees swaying on tropical breezes and sleeping ski lifts patiently waiting for December snows, "Vermont Lamps" unlocks the door to the dreamer's mind.  A far eastern inspired design made from Birch wood is the canvas that Vermont Artist Peter Katz adeptly paints with light. "Using light as a medium allows me to get closer than ever to recreating what nature intended." Katz designs his lamps using vibrant color pallets and diffused lighting to lull owners into deep states of relaxation.  In today's hectic world a conduit to the imagination and relaxation is worth its weight in gold.

The lamps are cut on a large format laser cutter capable of cutting 3 lamps consisting of four 6" x 16" panels at a time.  Currently keeping up with orders isn't a problem, still Artist Peter Katz envisions a time when adding another laser cutter will become necessary.  "It's a scary prospect to think of large capital expenditures like buying a large format laser cutter but without it there is no way we could keep up with current demand."  With increased national exposure Katz is confident that the laser cutter will pay for itself.  "Vermont Lamps" is banking on lamps with tropically inspired scenes of paradise and snow-covered ski lifts to propel their lamps into living rooms from coast to coast.

"Vermont lamps" is developing a local following in its home state and rightfully so.  It's only a matter of time before their lamps emerge on the national scene.  Lamp supply is limited so purchase yours today to ensure speedy receipt.  You can view "Vermont Lamps" current collection at www.vermontlamps.com.

"Vermont lamps" was created by Vermont Artist Peter Katz and his partner Shana Carlson.  The two live on the shores of Lake Champlain in Colchester, Vermont.  Shana takes care of day to day operations and the books.  Peter creates and produces lamps daily.
