Infidelity Coach Delivers State of the Union Address at Infidelity Hurts Awareness Day

Infidelity Hurts Awareness Day will host its annual event on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

USA - Infidelity Hurts Awareness Day has been holding events that aim at bringing the painful and embarrassing topic of infidelity to the fore. The group is on a mission of spreading awareness and information about the pain and severe psychological and emotional distress that individuals suffer because of betrayal of a partner. The idea of an annual event was the brainchild of Christina R. Ferguson who first founded this annual event in 2015.

In celebration of the fourth year of raising awareness and advocating for those who are affected and might suffer in silence and harbor the painful emotions of shame, pity, and embarrassment, Christina R. Ferguson will deliver the State of the Union Address.  She says that, We must change how the world views infidelity.

This years special guest is Lynn Marie Cherry, an engaging speaker and the author of an award winning book, Keep Walking: 40 Days to Hope and Freedom after Betrayal, a daily devotional that helps women find a way through the pain and trauma of betrayal. After experiencing the detrimental effects of pornography addiction in her own marriage, Lynn determined to inspire hope in others and shine a light on the path to freedom.

Last years event attracted over 500 registrants from around the world, and I am happy to announce that, back by popular demand, we will replay the 2017 Virtual Summit, says Christina.  The event featured reputed pioneers and advocates in the fight against infidelity, notably Anne Bercht, Martez and Woodrina Layton, Betrayed Wives Club, Laura Steuer, Elda M. Lopez, and Christina R. Ferguson. Topics for the 2017 Virtual Summit included strategies and coping tools on how to work through the pain and guilt. Infidelity Hurts Awareness states that there are instances of infidelity even in seemingly happy marriages. The Summit also touched upon topics like forgiveness and how to prevent instances of adultery in a marriage.  Concerns of the whole family affected by instances of infidelity was addressed. Ending the relationship and creating a life anew was also discussed.  Participants were provided guidance on how to overcome blame and address the stigma of infidelity by keeping their heads high.

The aim is to raise awareness of the devastating effects of infidelity on individuals, families, children, and communities, and provide support to those affected by this devastating behavior.  Individuals can participate in the 2018 Infidelity Hurts Awareness Day from the comfort of their home or from any convenient place where there is access to internet or a telephone.
