IBDHorizons Announces the 1st Annual Meeting on IBD in Columbus, Ohio

IBDHorizons, a nonprofit organization focused on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), has announced it’s 1st Annual Meeting to be held on March 24 in Columbus, Ohio.

The itinerary and outline for the upcoming event are being touted among the most awaited CME & Continuing Medical Education Conferences this year.

IBDHorizons is solely focused on diagnosis, management, treatment, and advancement of IBD. The non-profit organization provides accredited educational symposia in areas, where IBD centers of excellence are limited or have limited specialists.

“We are extremely proud and excited to announce our 1st Annual Meeting in Columbus on March 24, 2018. For specialists and experts interested in IBD Continuing Medical Education Conferences, this will be a stimulating and informative program, which will be attended by renowned doctors. This will also serve as the platform for discussing key topics related to IBD. Our Annual Meeting will have engaging, relevant and detailed presentations by renowned speakers, besides offering a forum, where experts, participants, and doctors can engage in a meaningful exchange of data and information,” the statement read.

Noted speakers at the event include Dr. Anita Afzali, who will explore the topic of “Biosimilars – The Use in IBD”, as well as Dr. Brian Feagan, who will give a talk on “Choosing an IBD Treatment Beyond Conventional Therapy”. Other eminent speakers include Dr. Thomas Ullman, Dr. Scott D. Lee, and Dr. Ghassan Wahbeh. Dr. Adam Cheifetz will deliver a speech on “Therapeutic Drug Monitoring: Reactive vs Proactive”. For anyone interested in CME for IBD in North America, this event promises to be an interesting educational discussion on the topic of IBD.

The meeting is built on a mix of talks and panels including Role of Chromoendoscopy for Dysplasia Surveillance, Potential New Pathways and Agents in the Management of IBD, Surgical Indications and Management of the IBD Patient, as well as Post-Operative Treatment in IBD led by Doctors W. Cirocco and S. Husain.
